Switch Up The Beat!

This skit debuted with SAIL High News Club’s Halloween special episode. Earlier that week, we hosted our school’s annual Battle of the Bands, a big tradition at SAIL. We wanted a skit that combined the concepts of the Battle, but with a Halloween twist. We had a great time shooting, writing, and editing it collaboratively— and the result is my campiest work yet! The epitome of silly, fun satire in student short films. With this episode, we established a precedent for News Club’s skits: campy, pop culture reference-ridden, with a teacher guest star and plenty of quotable moments!
